Hey Elisa! I'm really glad that you chose this topic to talk about, because I had actually read an article about it earlier this week, and I had thought that his radio ad sounded a bit off too. What I really liked however, was the fact that you touched upon America's lack of acceptance. Today no one is really willing to accept anything other than what they are already used to. And it's so sad that we still have to fight for everyone's equal rights because of people's stubborness, even when it is 2007. So I really hope people become more open to these types of new possibilities much sooner than later.

I think that your article is very appropriate, especially since one city has just agreed to make gay marriage legal. I belive that people should not talk about gay marriage or that being gay is wrong. I especially think that candidates should got go back on their views just to get more votes, especially about something so controversial like gay marriage. The radio advertisement was ridiculous and I completely agree with your ideas that he was wrong.
