Blogging about a news article written about polls conducted about politics.

That's not too removed, is it?

To me it seems impractical for pollsters to call both cell phones and landlines. I know that if my family were to receive a call from a pollster at home, my family would probably treat them as if they were a solicitor calling. I can understand why polling people with cell phones is less reliable, but either way I feel this polling method is extremely outdated. Pollsters may do a better job polling people at their places of employment, although then again, one must take into consideration the unemployed. I do not think that there is an accurate solution for pollsters, although inevitably I don't feel polling people over the phone will provide the best results regardless of whether it is a cell phone or landline.
